I took the NCLEX on Thurs June 16th at 8am, the computer cut off at 9am after 75 questions. I did the PVT after about 20 minutes once I got in my car; I got the "good pop up". Although I was still skeptical and on pins and needles for two days, I got my verification through quick results this morning that I indeed did PASS! So for anybody doubting the PVT, it definitely worked for me!

I walked out feeling horrible, just as I have been reading a lot of people feel. I can not stop thinking about how bad I did. I finally checked PVT yesterday at 3:00 pm and got the good pop up. I also checked just now at 5:00 pm (30 hours post completion) and am still getting good pop up. I am really scared that even though I am getting the good pop up I am still going to fail. Someone help has anyone gotten good pop up and failed? I know everyone asks this but do we know?

Someone help has anyone gotten good pop up and failed? I know everyone asks this but do we know? I took the exam in 75 questions as well and felt awful. I wasn't sure if I needed to jump for joy that the test shut off in the magical 75 or weep that I did so poorly another 200 questions wouldn't save me. I did the PVT nearly 30 hours after testing and got the "good pop-up" as well. I will get my quick results in the morning and I am hopeful and terrified.
Here is what I know to be true about NCLEX-RN as far as grading: NCLEX-RN is graded twice. Once while you are taking the test (thus determining when the test stops) and then once more at a later time (usually within 24 hrs). Therefore, the best time to do the PVT is 24 hrs+ post finishing exam time. People who check before 24 hours are at risk for a false-positive d/t the second grading.
I know all of my classmates have used the PVT after 24 hours and received the "good pop-up" and everyone has passed.
Good luck! I hope this helps =)

I finished my NCLEX-RN exam around 3:45p today and two hours later I did the PVT - getting the "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I used a Visa gift card that had about $15 on it - and not my debit or credit card. From what I have seen before, a failed test would yield an "Insufficient funds" message. I will update on Monday (since two business days will be Friday and Monday).

Hello, I took the PN exam TODAY and 88 questions later I was booted from the test! On my lovely ride from Topeka I did the PVT and received a good pop up! I'll know for sure on Monday but I'm trusting in this site!
