Not very many posts about this but I wanted to start it because it really freaked me out. I want to believe in PVT but like everyone, I have my doubts and won't believe it until I see my name posted on the BRN website. I haven't even checked my CA BreEZe account since I last applied to take the test. Well, a friend had recommended to go check there because California does not participate in the Quick Results option and the only way to check "early" if you pass is to go to the BreEZe account. I never noticed an option entitled "Applicant Activities" so I clicked on the options. In there, the options were as follow: 12-RN Exam Repeat/Reapply Examination RN- Change of Address Submit Additional Documents The first one cause me to have a heart attack! I thought to myself, wait -- why is there an option to "repeat/reapply" for an exam? Did I fail? Like a madman, I researched they whole entire internet and came up short. There were several mentions of this in AllNurses.com but very little responses. I was in panic and back to "failure" mode. I did not like this mode right after the exam. I actually received some solace after PVT and was able to sleep that night. But this new phenomenon was clearly going to kill me until I get the final results!! So I reached out to a classmate whom had not taken the exam yet but will be very soon. I asked her to check her BreEZe account to see if she had that option. By the grace of God, she did. Praise the LORD!!! My hope has been restored for the time being. Let it be known that it has only been since yesterday morning that I took the exam. I know all this is wasted energy. I know all the therapeutic dialogues that we have been so well-trained to say to each other. They are all meaningless and will fall on deaf's ears. So if I'm able to help anyone out at this moment of uncertainty and great anxiety, I hope that my post here has given you back some hope. At least for me, it has so far. Today is Friday and I've been told by other classmates whom received their results it took them 2 days. I'll try to get back on this thread to provide an update, as I know how helpful seeing the full picture can be for you at the moment. Best of all wishes.

UPDATE: Okay, to anyone reading this post and looking for an update. After 38 difficult hours of waiting and checking, I am happy to announce that I PASSED!!!! So don't worry about the BreEZe account showing the option to repeat/reapply. It is a generic option. And more importantly, THE PVT WORKS!!! I would add that you really don't need to keep checking the PVT after you have done so at the 24-hour mark. You are wasting your time. In 24 hours, Pearson Vue has already confirmed your pass/fail and sent the results to BreEZe/BRN. There's nothing that can be done after 24 hours. Just a waiting game. Also, today is Saturday and I took it on Thursday morning. Expect to wait the full time frame of 2-4 weeks, but in my case, I got my results on a Saturday morning at 0400, 38 hours from the time I completed the test.

Oh! Thank God for creating considerate people like you! My heart wanted to get out of my chest right away when I saw the same options on my breeze account 63 hours after taking my NCLEX-RN on a Friday at 8am. It was really a bad idea taking it on a Friday, spending my weekend like there's a time bomb in my chest. I'm afraid to do the PVT though, I guess I'll just keep waiting for the official result. Thank you for giving such relief! God bless you!

Hi All! California 07/29/2018 - I took Nclex-PN on Thursday July 19th 2018. My test went always to 205. I Passed! The date they printed on my congratulation letter was July 21, 2018 on Saturday. However, they send it on July 24, 2018 based on the postage meter stamp on envelope and I received on July 28, 2018. Unfortunately, many days later than I got my license online through Breeze. I believed for LVN/PN if it gives you an option to pay for $150 you passed and for RN it shows your name and license number online that mean you passed as well.
Today, I've decided to write a quick note to let everyone specifically in California knows since California has not participated in a quick 48-hour results. There are many ways to check for a quick result for indicating you pass or fail. There is a loopholes/flaws they know about it but left it there for us to find out about our test results but without letting us know it is existing. They wanted us to discover by ourselves.
First, after you done with Nclex test wait at least a few hours to do the Pearson Vue Trick. Wait until they send the test result back to Pearson Vue. Some people wait within an hour or two before doing the first checking. For me, I did after one hour and a half for my Pearson Vue first trick and I got a Good Pop Up and then I wait until 14 hours later after the test to do my second Pearson Vue trick checking again. Make sure you still get a Good Pop Up. My third time after 42 hours because I couldn't wait until 48 hours. I still get a Good Pop Up. When you do Pearson Vue Trick, make sure you do it right. Input credit card number like you normally do when you are buying things online and then press submit. Without press submit button, you will not get the Pop Up to determine the Good Pop Up or the bad one.
Second, since California do no participate in quick results 48-hour, log into your Breeze account that you/school created while you were in school. Wait for 48-hour or longer before check your Breeze account. When you are in your Breeze account, there is an option for you to pay $150 for a license. If there is an option allow you to pay, go for it. Don't waste your time waiting for Congratulation letter along with instructions how to apply for license online. Remember, if it lets you pay $150 for LVN license, it means you passed. In my case after I pay $150 for LVN license, and then my license number posted on Breeze less than 8 hours (some people I heard have to wait for 24-hours). The reason my license posted online less than 8-hour after I paid online, is because it is the power of the Lord Jesus I have prayed days and nights on my knees for passing LVN. LVN is my first step for bridging program to RN.
Good Pop Up is still the best working indicator as of this writing as long as you do it correctly. Do not waste your time with Good Pop Up more than two times or three times. First check after and hour or two since you cannot contain yourself and second check after 48-hour or less. That's all!
It's been 10 days (count from the day I took the test) now I have received congratulation letter, but who needs it anyway since they have already posted my license number online? Remember, study hard don't give up and there are many ways to kill two birds with a stone. Hey California, no need to wait for your congratulation letter. Do the steps I listed above!!! The Lord is always on your side if you seek for him. "Happy is a man who finds wisdom"

Thank you so much for all the information! I took my NCLEX-RN on Wednesday. My exam shut off on question 238. I felt devastated and cried my way home. I did the PVT after i received the test confirmation from Pearson Vue. I got a good pop up. It has been 72 hours past. I have been checking on BreeZe and doing the PVT. I still got a good pop up ( thanks Lord), but there was no update on BreEze as of yet. I am drained.

Just want to post my experience. Hopefully it'll ease someone's anxiety as it did mine when reading this thread. Anyway I took the NCLEX-LVN last January 4,2019 (friday) at 2pm. Stopped at 91 questions with 25 SATA, 5 arrange in order and 3 calculations. After I received the email from pearson I tried the pearson trick and I got the good pop up. Tried again after 24 hours then 48 hours still good pop. But when I checked my breeze I have the option of Application to Retake which made me nervous. I was anxious the whole time but my part time job kept me sane. This thread also helped me not to lose hope. I kept on checking my breeze account every couple of hours. January 8 (tuesday) I realized there's no more option of Application to Retake on my breeze account but there's the Application to Initial Licensure choice instead. January 9 (wednesday) I decided to apply for the Initial Licensure and paid $150. Still kept on checking my breeze account if they'll post my license number. Also checked my bank account if my payment went through, and it did on friday. January 14 (monday) I received a letter that I passed and finally I'm rest assured and just ecstatic after all those days that I was worried and anxious. The next day January 15 (tuesday) I checked my breeze and finally my license number is posted. My journey of this waiting game took a while compared to others, and you might have the same thing going on. Just believe in yourself.

I took my NCLEX PN on Saturday and waited 6 hours before trying the PVT and got the good popup. My test shut off at 85 and it seemed harder than I expected. I checked breeze and theres a dropdown for "retake/reapply" which makes me nervous because another thread (allnurses) claims this is a fail. But It seems like this option could change? So Maybe the PVT does work I have a little more hope when I saw that may others had that breeze option at first as well. It is now Monday I will update whenever I find out if i passed or not. My test seemed like 50 percent SATA and didnt seem straight forward at all. Harder than UWorld for me and I did the entire Qbank and got a "high chance of passing" from the Uworld Exam.

Hi everyone,
I took my Nclex PN on 3/21/19 ... it stopped at 85. Had a lot of hard questions and some that I feel were out of my scope. I left the test dazed and feeling like crap. I still do because I noticed that I had the retake drop down on breeze. However, I have done the PVT trick over 5 times and I keep getting the good pop up and it won’t take my money. Thank GOD! I’m so nervous today is the 10th day.
Honestly I just want to know if I passed. Even if I have to wait for the license just knowing I passed would take away this intense stress that I have been feeling.
How accurate is the PVT? I’m really depending on it to be right...
