We are all angels with but one wing, it is when we help each other we can fly!~ This was posted by "Whew! Guest from the old PVT forum
Want to thank annelieseRN for this site, definitely helped me through the anxiety of the last 48 hours!! The PVT worked for me and five classmates that have recently take the NCLEX, four that passed and got the red triangle and one that did not and received the message that the credit card information was not valid. Took it on the 27th in NC, cut off at 110 questions. I had 6 sata, 2 math comp, 4 exhibit, a lot of priority, some delegation, a few psych, a few therapeutic communication, a lot of precaution, a lot of ped's, and not a single OB (thank god). For those who are wondering about the number of questions being an indicator of pass or fail, it is not. My classmate that did not pass had the same number of questions with around the same ratio and type of questions that I did. This is just my experience but I wanted to share and hopefully ease some anxiety of people currently waiting for results. Good luck!!

My friend and I took the LVN exam last Jan14 the same time. Last Thursday Jan28, exactly 2weeks after the exam, she already received her results and pass. Does it mean I didnt pass because I didnt receive any letter til now? We took it the same day and why she already receive hers? They should sent it same day too even if it is pass or fail. Im just curios and nervous that maybe I failed. Help pls. Does anyone know like this situation? Thanks

My summary: Took the test 1/26/2016 with CA board of nursing. 265 questions, 15 SATA, lots of priority, no math, lots of precautions, couple of exhibit scenarios Tried the PVT 3 hours after my test and got the good pop up, tried again 24 hours later and 48 hours later still same pop up. IT WORKED! I heard CA takes long for results to process but my license number showed up on Breeze on 1/29/16. So thankful and relieved. Goodluck to you all and remember this can be done. This was my 4th time testing.
For those of you wondering about the PVT trick... I used a valid credit card with the wrong expiration and got the good pop up. I also used a valid cc and got the same pop up. Therefore I dont think it matters if you use a card with insufficient funds or incorrect cc expiration.

So... i took the IL NCLEX at 1200 noon and did 160 questions ( take those breaks to rejuvenate , its so imp ) , 5hrs later finished. Did the trusty PVT about 5 hrs later at around 1000pm = Good POP up! Checked today at 845AM = GOOD POP UP! SO.... I just waiting for my 48hr quick results to give me the go so I can relax 100% . Additional Info : Did a 24Hr "Good" POP-UP check even though 4-17 hrs were all that was needed ,but I guess for my own self edification it made me feel better! OK one more thing for Il. "In Illinois we register with continental too and at 24hr mark" I checked continental and it said PASS!!!!

Took my nclex on JAN 12 @12 pm. Got all 205 questions and ended in about 4 hours and a half. Felt exhausted after and could not believe i got all questions. Came home and did the PVT right away, got the good pop. Continued to do it daily with the wrong expiration and was still getting the good pop up. Got my results in the mail yesterday and I am officially a Licensed LVN in CA. (: goodluck to everyone and stay hopeful. The PVT is real coming from someone who had 205 questions and felt like every question I got was a 50:50 chance of getting it right.

I heard about the pvt from my nursing school friends. 3 passed and got the good pop up. Don't know anyone from school that failed yet. I took the test yesterday and had all 265 questions. Tried the trick and got the good pop up. Has anyone failed after getting the good pop up? I'm still nervous.

I have lurked this board for the last 3 days, I took my Nclex-RN on 2/5/16. It shut off at 75 questions, I was done in under 1 1/2 hours so I was shocked. I was nervous, I went home and 1 hr, 4 hrs, 6 hrs and 24 hrs after the exam I got the "good" pop up. I live in CT and they can take up to 4 wks to post your license. I paid for the quick results and "pass" was the result. Thank you for this board, my nerves were on edge for the last 3 days. The PVT is alive and well. I can finally sleep.
Thank you so much..

Hi, I took the NCLEX today and did the Pearson Vue Trick trying to reregister for the NCLEX again. I got 265 questions which was nerve racking after i got past 100. I got the good popup every time I have tried after the test and 12 hours later. Is the PVT accurate. Anxiety level is high

Took the test yesterday. Ran out of time with over 200 questions answered. Did the PVT and got the good pop up. Has anyone ever gotten the good pop up and found out later they failed? I don't want to get too excited because I was so sure I failed.
