I took the NCLEX-RN exam today at 0800. After the exam and after receiving the email from PearsonVue on NCLEX Examination Information, i tried the Pearsonvue trick. I would say about 15-30 minutes later, i received the message "our records indicate that you have...." at around 6PM i got "the candidate currently has test results that are on hold..." What does this mean?

I'm only posting this for hopes that it will help Atleast one person. So to start, I was anxious before the test, during the test , and after the test. So trust that the feeling does not go away. My exam (NCLEX-PN) had 22 SATA, no pharm calculations, 2 pictures, 1 ecg. My test shut off at 85 questions and I was devastated, I felt as though throughout most of that exam I had guessed. I went ahead and did the famous "PVT trick". I was then again devastated as it neither gave me the good nor bad pop up, but placed me on "hold". So I started reading blogs. Apparently someone is placed on hold, if they have problems with palm scanning or any security flag that makes Pearson check the tapes. I recalled having to do my palm scan twice, so that must have been it. I tested a Saturday in the afternoon, and didn't get my results till Wednesday afternoon due to the hold and such. Thanks to god I got the great news that I passed. I hope this helps someone & good luck future nurses !
